Tree treasures 6

Happy New Year
Let's hope that the 2014 weather improves on today ! Wet and really horrible.

The rain was driving over the pool this morning, although the water was warm and there weren't many of us braving the elements.

But once I got home, I really didn't fancy venturing out again so I turned to my tree again.

I have blipped this Bufana before (the Italian witch who is choosy about which children get good presents and which get coal)

She has a certain sinister quality - this tree decoration was bought in Rome quite some time ago..... a great New Year (when I learned that in Rome you have to be careful walking along the streets because the locals hurl fridges and other white goods from the balconies) That, and the Russians who declared Moscow's New Year so we were all well into the mood when it reached the UK. Shots over the Via Veneto...... that was quite a New Year.

Quiet for me this time - but those fireworks (on tv) were amazing
