A boy and a view
What's out there...
There was no rest for the semi wicked and M and I were off out, leaving Mrs P with a little cat as company and foot warmer. J dropped us, this young man and his mum C up at Cuber. We walked in the blue, blue sky up to the top of the barranc (from last week). Having a little break there on a rock, there was for a little while, absolutely no sound whatsoever! Rounding L'Ofre, we dropped down into Orient valley on the goat track. This young man was a dab hand at spotting the blue blobs on rocks and tiny cairns that marked the path. It ends at a fabulous finca (we were wondering who would live in a pile like this?) and we had to climb up ladder and even slide down a pole to get out. We ended up in one of our favourite restaurants, but not for lunch. Next time maybe.
Back in Soller, we are smelling the roast chicken, Mrs P is rested, feet nicely warmed and having enjoyed a day sitting in the sun reading. What a corker of a start to the year!
