The Watercress Line

I am a secret steam train fan !! As with all my secret obsessions I know nothing about the subject except that I just know I love them hahah.

On boxing day we travelled on the Mid Hants Railways and in particular the Watercress Line. The event is described as :

"Experience the atmosphere of a WWII Christmas! Join civilian and military re-enactors and witness the relief and joy of returning home from war"

Unfortunately there wasn't much performance so to speak, except some great costumes, a Churchill look alike and the youngest GI I'd ever seen!
