Soaking New Year

Not strictly a selfie as I didn't press the button but my excuse is that I couldn't move my hands by this point due to the cold.

Despite one too many glasses of bubbly last night I decided to start the year as I mean to go on. So I ran to the New Year's Day Parkrun and joined nearly 300 other hardy souls in doing 5k in torrential rain. There were even some visiting Australian Parkrunners. Lord knows what they thought of the British weather.

Felt much better for doing it and warmed up back ag home with some toast and jam made with blackberries picked on my birthday last year.
