Hyacinth and cyclamen

The new year dawned amidst rain and high wind. So we have stayed indoors all day. I have been reading and doing a jigsaw till early evening. Now I have to rush to blip before the food in the oven gets over cooked, (in ten minutes).

I grabbed an old prime lens and used the light from the room next door to illuminate the Hyacinth, gifted to us by a client of Helena, and the cyclamen which I bought last Christmas which I've managed to keep going! The jigsaw is just to the left of the plants.

It is interesting to use a prime again and rather fun. The resulting snap isn't entirely in focus but I like it. Happy new year everybody., and Bon appetit to those about to eat, like us.
