The Undiscovered County

A misty and mysterious Severn Valley seen from the Malvern Hills.  That's another whole part of the UK we know very little about (as was Malvern until this year, really).  

It did seem to be very full of Severn at the moment though.

Dreary weather for most of the day, but given it was supposed to be heavy rain we're not complaining.  Some slightly frustrating sunsets in the rear view mirror on the way home.

Got back about tea-time, and then S & J left to go celebrate the New Year elsewhere.  Tired from walking the hills we settled down for a brain dead evening; particularly so when E suggested watching Mamma Mia, which was hilarious - mainly through watching Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan and Colin Firth hamming away.

Saw the New Year in with a drink, snuggled up in bed, surrounded by fireworks going off outside.
