Last day of the year

Some sunlight amidst the gloom. Sums up 2013 really. You can never say a year is fully bad, as good things happen even on the darkest days. But it's a year I'm happy to say good bye to.
An hour and a half's walking near Great Tower south of Windermere. One of the few places we could get to as the Lakes were so flooded out. Rose was on John's back. She slept through most of it.
Squelchy mud and fresh air.
