Day 1 Pansy pin cushion

My first post in the 365 project is also my first attempt at a pin cushion in an upcycled container.

This pretty pansy pin cushion was made in felt using an old china vase as its base. The pansy was hand felted using barbed felting needles and extra detail was added using embroidery threads. The pins were also hand crafted to enhance the design.

I am going to try to craft something each day of the year to share with my blip friends.
