Relief

The only thing more thrilling for Nana than our arriving for a couple of days is our leaving to go back home after a couple of days.

We left her happy and exhausted in the unobtrusive company of her lap dogs.

She did not hide her relief at the thought of not having to see or hear Sponge Bob on cable tv until our next visit.

Lucky her.
Mrs Raheny and I were treated to a further four hours of Sponge Bob on the laptop, with sporadic bouts of the Sponge's insanely irritating laughter coming from the back seat, with regular demands for Chickatees, ham sandwiches, treats of any kind, water or wee wee stops.
It's not often that one gets to curse the extra long life of the battery on the laptop...

Now it's time for me to prepare my school bag for tomorrow (shudder)
