Ironman Prep

Andy couldn't get ahold of anyone related to the race last night or this morning. He was about ready to give up and break into the free beer. He and I walked into town to see if we could find out anything.

After a lot of walking, getting completely soaked by the rain, asking many people that didn't know anything, and a couple of cab rides Andy is checked in and all his gear is queued up in the correct places.

Now to calm down, pack in some pre-race calories and try to sleep tonight. He is a little worried about the swim tomorrow - making the time cut is the biggest 'if'. This is usually the calm side of the island...those big crashing waves aren't normal. They've cancelled all the practice swims this week. We'll see what they decide to do.
