Here's a local Karate class up for the sunrise and practicing. Everything looks good in first light on a clear day but these guys caught my eye.

I took about 6 photos of this karate group. The first one was photo-bombed by a golden retriever.

I figured out today if I put the light 40mm pancake lens on my camera its light enough to put in a rucksack and run with. Trouble is I keep stopping to photograph things. Still managed 10km.

The missus said she was going to start blipping and has nicked one of my lenses. She's yet to upload anything yet.

My brother has also started. He's takes some great photographs on film and DSLR so I'm looking forward to seeing his start to the year. The first shot was a lemon. Not a dud, an actual lemon.

I've been doing some work stuff here and there but the rest of the country is still in holiday mode. Went to see the runners doing the Ekiden relay race as they passed nearby our house and flew a kite at the beach. Quite a warm day for Winter.
