Coos an' that

My drive home takes me past this lot of old heifers.
Today, fortunately they decided to stay on the right side of the fence. Earlier in the summer two of them decided to make a break for it and hid in the hedgerows waiting for me to drive past and then they pounced forcing me into an emergency stop. Luckily, neither car or cow was injured in the unintentional ambush and boy would I have struggled to put one of them into the back of my car for dinner that night if I had!
I might start a campaign for all cows to wear hi-vis vests, as I think it would cut down the amount of cow-crashes there are on our roads.

At the time I never noticed the hole at the bottom of the tree. I like it.
