Today's forecast

Stayed over at Nan's last night, she needs a bit of TLC and unfortunately she is not really looking after herself properly due to her condition. She is also not very co-operative with other people!

Luckily, she didn't make a fuss today, so while Mum and Chris went out, I was able to get her showered, change her undies, wash her hair and cut her fingernails and toenails - and it only took 3 hours! I also managed to put 2 loads through the washing machine and clean the bathroom! The things we do for love.

She knows who I am (most of the time I think, anyway!) but she simply cannot retain much, and cannot look after herself properly. It really is at the stage where she needs to be in full time care, but it is unfortunately not in my hands. I wish it was.
