As one book closes.....

.....another one opens.
On the 1st day of the year I always transfer birthdays and other significant dates into my new diary. I keep all my old diaries. They contain nothing of importance which could be published after my demise, but they can be looked at when needed and may cause a laugh or a tear as events are remembered. No deep thoughts, just a record of appointments and the all important holidays! I am very particular about the size and style of my diary. Must be spiral bound to lie flat when opened and a week to be displayed. You are allowed to be fussy about such things when you reach my age!
