No, Eve, that's not a nesting site...

Eve has suddenly discovered that, as a budgie, she has wings and can fly. Despite the fact the other budgies have been regularly perching on the top of the curtains for over a year, Eve has just realised she too can make her way up there and join them... and she loves it. In fact, it's now hard to separate her from her new favourite spot.

From the way she is acting (and the longer, warmer days she is enjoying now we are back home again) she seems to have decided that it is now spring, and time for her to make a little baby budgie. She very much seems to be trying to make herself a little nest on top of our curtains, and is reluctant to come out once she has settled herself up there. Only time will tell whether she decides it's safe enough to try and lay some eggs!
