First Picnic of the Year

A window in the weather - the sun was shining not a hint of snow so the sledges were still in hiding ...but the bikes were coming out and a cycle round the dalmeny estate was in order.

Not only that but a picnic was the order of the day as well - so we packed up the trailer with food, stove, rug etc and headed down the the beach.

Isaac had sneaked some kindling (reckoned his dad wouldn't have allowed him to start a fire??) so him and his brother got a good wee fire on the go to keep us all warmed - I cooked the sausages, Clare made the tea and the first picnic of the year was had....and a great one it was as well.

.....but even though the weather was fine - all due to change again tomorrow...but still no Snow!! What has happened to this winter??
