Pack walk

I took the dogs on another pack walk today. It was a smaller one, just 7 adults and 8 dogs this time. We did my favourite walk, starting in Blackmuir Woods just outside Strathpeffer, walking up to the Cat's Back and along to the old Iron Age hill fort of Knocfarrel. It takes about 2 hours so is not a long walk but it includes a bit of everything - woods, a stone maze, heather moorland and best of all stunning views.

We couldn't have had a better day for it. The dogs had great fun, Poppy initiated them all into her and Bud's game of " let's all chase Poppy whilst barking at the tops of our voices", all except Poppy that is who keeps quiet in order to reserve all her energy into keeping at the head of the pack.

A day to remember.
