The 90 degree shot
The cocktail list may explain why today is a little hazy.
I can though heartily recommend the Chambord Royale and the Cable Car. That's no criticism of the others, I just never moved away from the first two.
Much talking, eating, merriment and the name game until I realised K had started to doze in his chair around 4:30am. The walk round to our "hotel" for the night merely acted as a wake up so we ended up talking about weddings until 6am, for which I hold Lesley and SooB entirely responsible!
Snooze till noon followed by a less communicative walk back to the party house, to collect our belongings. do a few impromptu physio sessions and gratefully devour their lunch leftovers.
And then we headed back to Essex to finally see K's Dad for Christmas. A major accident on the M25 caused us to detour into London but let us do an impromptu drop off of the shoes that had been left in our car by accident on Sunday night and still make it home for half eight. It felt like we'd been away for weeks. In reality it was only 26 hours.
An early night beckoned. Harry Potter and MOTD intervened. We really must get better at this!

PS amended the photo to include the 90 degree shot of this. It took an inordinate time to realise we two of us could provide the light required for the shot using the torches on our phones. This explains the light at the corner of my shot which was much worse before a little cropping. Yes we could just have switched a light on but that would have been so dull.
