Sparkles for the New Year

I was relying on a sunset today as I've found a lovely place where I think the foreground could be quite stunning against a vivid sky - back to the drawing board as no sunset. I drove past the field where the Highland cattle are - not today!
So I came home, looked out the of patio door and saw a swan on the river. By this time it was nearly dark but I grabbed some bread and took a chance whether I would get a blip.
He had been getting weed from the river bed and I just love how the water droplets sparkle in the flash of the camera.
