Beans beans, good for your heart

A series of failures was the theme of my day, right up to the point where my jacket potato din't cook and I had to have beans on toast :'(
I now face another night in the spare room, sleeping in a single bed with an enormous cat taking up most of it as I do not have the energy to put sheets on my own.
Woe is me!
