Palacerigg

Lo, the rain had stopped and the sun was out! We needed food, printer ink and a new headlight bulb for the car, Tesco provided the first and second and a cheery man at Halfords fixed the latter. Decided to celebrate by driving up to Palacerigg to see the deer. Oh dear (pun intended). Palacerigg is not the place it used to be. Thanks to NLC it has been reduced to a mere shadow of its former self. No deer to be seen. Maybe NLC have sold them too. Did find a couple of horses on the far side of a field. They'd have to do. Not so interesting as the hoped-for deer, but needs must etc. Only a short lens with me on the Nikon, so concentrated on the skyscape. At least we got out today.
