Swan Head

Basil and I walked around Charnwood Water this morning. Haven't been there for a while. Someone had told me that it was teeming with bird life. There were swans, coots, moorhens, seagull and ducks, but no Canada geese. Tried to get decent shots of seagulls in flight with my 7D, without success. One or two almost made it but noise and slow focus was an issue. Don't know if it's the camera or the lens that is having problems with the focusing. Did get a passable one of a young swan coming up for air after probing for (water) weed. Weather was gentle but not going to remain so. Not sure when we can get out again for a good stroll.
