Hunkered Down

This female cardinal was hunkered down inside my holly outside the living room window. The male cardinal was perched on top of a shepherd's crook nearby, braving the elements. Snow is falling and temps are dropping, only 8 degrees F at 1:30 this afternoon. My first ever blip! Not the best, but it's a start. I liked her expression ~ she looks a bit disgruntled.
