Aberdeen from Torry Battery

We stopped here for a wee break on our way to friends near Inverurie. OK it's not really on the way, but we've never been there before. The battery was built in 1860 and ceased being used in the 1950s. The view is unusual and we lucky to get some sun. The sea was quite flat, but there was a good swell. There was a stiff breeze and the Saltire is flying nicely.
