The celebs/ great & good were queuing up to get an invite to my Ne'erday steak pie soiree. In the end we had to decide by ballot and these are the lucky winners.

What a bunch of soaks they turned out to be. Not a drop of booze left in the house and no food either. Not even a twiglet. Thankfully Del Boy saved the day and after a brief phone call, managed to get half a hundredweight of pork scratching delivered and the party continued ;))

We had a very good night last night, which ended with an 80s quiz - boys v girls. Miraculously the boys won but only because we let them. And they cheated. So the girls won really.

Bit of a lie in this morning and any lingering after effects of last night's celebrations were blown away by a full Scottish breakfast and a relaxing afternoon to give us the energy to continue celebrating this evening when Jen, Rebecca and Andrew arrived.

Anyhoo, Happy New Year lovely Blippers. Hope it's your best year ever :)) xx
