"I'm not frightened of you!"

This is our daughter's dog, Smartie - although he's not really very.

We're here to look after the grandchildren whilst daughter and SIL go away for a few days.

When ever we stay here, Smartie takes about 3 or 4 days to get used to me. He looks at me with ears down and hides behind everyone else. After a while he gets to accept that the silly old duffer who's always tickling his ears (the dog's not mine!) is actually quite harmless...

Wait a minute, we spent Christmas here - I've been gone lass than a week!
