Early morning sun on lime trees

This is part of one of the avenues lining the roads coming into the village with the sun striking from the South-East. The village cemetery extension is shielded from this view behind the hedge. It was a beautiful morning, and today has been a welcome respite from the awful weather, although we have got off lightly so far here in Lincolnshire compared to the West and South West. I hope all of you in coastal areas keep warm, dry and safe tonight.
