Kauppakatu

J was swimming with Emma and Minttu in the swimming hall of Nokia town. I trimmed Sami's ears and built an adventure labyrinth for our guinea pigs - both of my activities were huge success :)

In the evening me, J, Emma and Sami had a short visit to Tampere. The shot is from Kauppakatu street. The lights are part of Tampere Illuminations . Lights brighten up winter’s darkest months every year with some 165 light figures consisting of 23,000 led bulbs hung high above the city streets. The illuminations tradition started in 1965, this year it's the 48th time lights have been hung. Lights will be turned off next Monday.
