Walkies

I'm getting into black and white at the moment. This is one of a few I shot while walking Blake in the field. I think I just ran black and white through this one without any further tinkering; with some I adjusted brightness, contrast etc. I take photos in raw on my D40 to get the most out of it but optimise the image so I can preview black and white before I put them on my laptop. Optimising images on the camera does give a reasonable effect for images but only works on JPEGS. Bore over! I'm going to update my tumblr this evening too: fergusmckie.tumblr.com
