The Christmas Fade

Wow, we've started the new year in a cold fashion, and things aren't getting any better tonight as the temperature continues to drop and another snow event arrives.

As I looked out the window this afternoon I could see Christmas slowly drifting away. How quickly time seems to move from one moment to the next.

Today was about getting what had to be done as quickly as possible and then returning to nest back at home.

Today's smile moment came this afternoon. After taking a bit of a ribbing about my bohemian choice of clothing, I told them (the all female staff) that they should know me better by now, and that wife never knows who she's waking up with... :)
