Balloon swords

This morning we decided to go exploring, so we headed to New Lanark - a world heritage site. However by the time we got out the door (we were a bit slower than normal as had another disturbed night with CJ), it was almost lunchtime. So our full day of exploring turned into a half day. But the tickets are open so we can return to finish looking round on another day.

The lack of time actually worked in our favour, as we let CJ walked the whole way around the exhibits and from/to the car park, including a very long, steep climb! We were both amazed at how well he coped!

New Lanark was brilliant, the exhibits were great to look at and informative - we are definitely going back to see the rest of it!

Once home S2 decided to have craft time with CJ and they made ballon swords - well I think S2 made them and CJ assisted. For the next 20 mins all you could hear in the house was a ninja war cry giggle from CJ as he charged around with his swords, "attacking" S2, Pixel and me.
