Grand Prix of Gloucester Cyclocross 2009

Today was the Grand Prix of Gloucester Cyclocross race. It's the biggest race in New England for the season. All the top pros show up. And unlike yesterday's mud bath, the rains ended. By afternoon the sun popped its glorious yellow glow out.

Here's a photo of my friend Kurt who's a stellar mountain biker and the person who conned me into doing the Vermont 50 (oops, I forgot, I wasn't to mention that again). Anyway, he doesn't have a cyclocross bike anymore, but he showed up and showed that it's not about the equipment by finishing 35th (out of 78 starters) in the Master's A race on his mountain bike.
