"Already framed"...

...Taken from the Bird Hide at one of the lovely Wetlands here not far away. (May be better seen in LARGE..)

...Not a lot of birdlife right here today, it was a beautiful day, a little windy, but the breeze was cool and refreshing as we walked along the pathways all by ourselves, just the occasional reed warbler hiding in the reeds and rushes and an egret and a variety of ducks on the ponds with a few shy pelicans..

...Hard to imagine that the Town proper is just half a klm away - where we had just been to have a nice Chinese meal -It was abuzz with so many tourists..hard to get a carpark and the shops were packed with mostly young people, and doing well...

...We saw the old P.S. Rothbury on our way home with many folk on board, but I thought you may like to see this pic instead..it was nice to have a rest in the Bird Hide..
