Lonely Clothesline
I was out walking the dog this morning and the most beautiful orange/red sunset broke through the marshmallow grey clouds. I adjusted my camera with a smile on my face and went to take a picture and *Gasp* my battery died. I tried to comfort myself with the fact that it was a beautiful moment all the same, but in the back of my mind a dozen batteries were already on order.
For some reason it felt a little like spring this morning. Warm and wet and the way the birds sounded it felt like things were turning a corner. Of course this is a bit hopeful for Jan 2. but I can and will pretend!
Looking forward to using my clothesline again when old man winter gives up the ghost.
