Like water off a duck's back

These are of course quail. Such a constant pair that wander thru our property several times a day. The male is so caring - he usually stands guard while the female eats. Occasionally taking a few pecks himself. They often face opposite directions to cover possible danger on both sides. I liked the droplets of water on their backs.
