Eccles Cakes

Another lazy day today. Left J sleeping in bed and made a good start on editing the holiday photos from the Sea of Cortez. Managed to get all of the Grand Canyon ones finished off. Also managed to get all of the diving ones and Grand Canyon one uploaded to photobox so we can start on the photo books. They have an offer on at the moment that makes getting them sorted worthwhile.
J and flip top started to look for a trip to see the Northern lights. We are leaving it a bit late but will have to see what is available.
Couldn't put it off any longer and went outside for a look around the shops. First time outside this year. Got a box of Eden Brewery beer from their stand in St Andrews Square and a new pair of jeans. J managed to get a new Mulberry handbag while I was distracted in the jeans shop. The girls did some more shopping while I went looking for a few bits without success.
Came home and watched the rest of Die Hard 5 and the Empire Strikes Back. Flip Top and me then started on the Return of the Jedi while J went to bed.
These are the last of the cooked Eccles cakes. We had them for desert after J's game Thai Curry.
As its the New Year its normal to make some New Year resolutions. These arn't so much resolutions but more things that I'm going to try and do this year.

1. Sort out my pensions and get them grouped together as much as possible
2. Submit an L panel to the Royal Photogoraphic Society to try and get some letters after my name.
3. Run a 10K at some point this year. Maybe the Edinburgh one on the 24 May
4. Finish a sprint Triathlon. North Berwick 11 May and or St Andrews Triathlon 27 July
5. Finish a standard length Triathlon. Gullane Beach Triathlon 25 September
6. Do the mile Great Scottish Outdoor Swim 23 August

Hopefully by putting them in a blip they might get done.
