Okay, so last day...

I thought i'd nip into the college today to have a look at the exhibition as it stands the day before the main Exhibition at the college.

Tomorrow night students from the HN Photography will be showing off some of the work they have produced over the last year to anyone who is interested in coming along. The exhibition starts at 6PM at Edinburgh's Telford College. Some of you may be familiar with a photograph on Red's flickr that he linked in one of his comments on May 15th, it was of a fish sitting in a tin. This is one of the photographs at the exhibition (i personally loved this photographers work).

I suggest any of you who have the time to go check out this exhibition. Some really good work on show.

As i was walking around the photography department of the college today i noticed that the dark room lights were on. Seeing the dark room lights on at 3:30pm during the week was a rarity. As random as it seems, but it was just something i felt like doing, taking a few random shots of the Dark Room while the lights were on and seeing how they looked in B&W. I don't do enough Black and White shots and it's something i want to start doing alot more of now.

I finally bought a new lens for my camera. It's a Pentacon 1.8/50mm Macro lens with Bellows. It might not seem like anything special to some people, but it now allows me to take better Macro shots soon. It was delivered to my parents home in Aberdeenshire today, so when i move back up at the end of the month i'll manage to start taking some photographs with it then.
