Hopeful

I thought today's photo was going to be another one for my bleak series (bleak street, bleak marina) because the weather has been so bad.

But the sun came out and there was a rainbow, which made me smile. As I continued walking towards it, it disappeared. But then, I saw another one.

Today's photo is of the second rainbow. If you look closely, you can see some sort of American military plane climbing into the sky after having taken off from RAF Mildenhall.
