Birthday celebrations

This morning I was greeted by 3 smiling faces, big cuddles, and a cake lit up with candles. A fantastic way to wake up.

Equally fantastic was being able to spend a lovely night away with V, staying in a cozy country pub on the banks of Loch Lomond. Dinner was perfect, and the evening so relaxing.

The 2nd January is generally a rubbish time of year to have a birthday, but thanks to V's (always efficient) planning, it really was a brilliant way to celebrate! X
