Christmas table

At church this morning several of the children were showing and talking about their presents, however in both Roger's family and mine it has always been tradition to leave opening presents until after Christmas dinner when everyone can sit down and enjoy it properly. It used to be torture waiting until after dinner as a child, but as I grew older I learned to appreciate it. The table looked very elegant as we sat down to eat, complete with name tags, and the dinner was wonderful. There were plenty of presents to open, largely thanks to Janet who had a big bag of presents for each of us - many of them various food items, but all individually wrapped. She must have been wrapping presents for hours, but it was certainly fun trying to work out what they all were! It was a good day though a little sad being so far from Jen and Philip.
