Friends

I met these two scamps on the slopes today near our chalet. They are pals and are there most days, playing together. Their favourite pastime is jumping for snowballs. Today, one took a particular shine to my chicken panini, and was duly rewarded. The other crouched low, waiting for me to throw its stick time and time again. Later, whilst indulging in a scrummy hot chocolate at the nearby cafe, I watched them scampering up and down a slope, barking, tails wagging furiously, delighting in running down alongside some kids who were sledging...taking enormous pleasure in simple things...I can learn a lot from them!
