It's always good

These arrived today given by our lovely visitors, we have had a brilliant week but sadly they plan to leave tomorrow - if the weather allows. During a dry spell I macro blipped a few mini ferns and was in the process of deciding which to blip when the flowers presented another challenge. (That shadow on the lower part of the image is very annoying). The ferries are running but the timetable is disrupted, all adding to the festive spirit, for us anyway. If the family are stranded here for another night it's a mini adventure. But we did learn a lesson a couple years ago, don't strip the beds until we know they have landed in Oban.
