The tide is high

For some reason I am always drawn to the shore when the sea is rough like it was today. It was a Spring tide so the water was in as far as it could go and the wind was whipping up the surf. The lighthouse looked like it was taking a battering. It has been a lot windier at the Point, I could actually walk although it was tricky keeping the camera still and dry from the spray.
We have got off lightly so far although the wind is picking up again now and it's raining. We did get a carwash as we headed for theHarbour.
Lots of seaweed and small stones were covering the road surfaces.
