To Hope for Good Luck

Over the Christmas holidays I have been responsible for feeding some chickens belonging to friends.

On my way round I noticed that one of the horseshoes had fallen to the ground in the gale overnight.

Now which way up was it to be replaced, the open ends upward or downward?

Not wanting to tempt fate I replaced it on its stand to match the two horseshoes that were still in place.

Hopefully that should do the trick....
