High tide at Lynmouth
Although I took this off the TV and then had a Snapseed play with it, it brought back happy memories of Lynmouth. My mum used to live there, but at the moment the village is in trouble with flooding at high tide. As you can see the water is lapping the harbour wall. It has already flooded the Main Street and the shops, so disheartening for everyone. This last gale is a terrible start to 2014 for so many people who have had their homes full of water.
Cornwall, Devon and Dorset have been badly hit. Weymouth had some roads under water, by the harbour, and are on standby for the next high tide
