Twilight Trees

It was only at four o'clock this afternoon I got the chance to get the camera out. The light was nearly gone, but the oak trees were looking gorgeous in the twilight nonetheless.

Plus, looking on the bright side, the sky was still light after 4pm, and that on a day of (more) dark skies and heavy rain.

Taking the photograph was also some kind of affirmation that I want to keep going with this day by day photography, even on days when there's not much to see or not much to say. Perhaps, particularly on the days when there's not much to see or to say.
