…….been to The Qatar Exxon Mobile Open Tennis Semi finals this evening. Took this picture of Rafael Nadal from the top tier of the seats. Miles away at 45%. Talk about vertigo!
He had just been introduced and was taking off his track suit doing a bit of a jig. His energy level is phenomenal!

When I blew it up I was so surprised to see this expression on his face!

Seeing him live was a real treat. He has an arrogance about him which just oozes 'I am No 1'. I will intimidate you………..

He is a true craftsman of his sport. You can hear him turn up a notch just by the change in sound as the ball hits the racket.

He has his routines and rituals before every serve, on the change of ends and his distribution of two towels to the ball boys/girls. He even takes the exact same route back to his chair at change of ends, and a peculiar little shuffle.

He won. An excellent match against Peter Gojowczyk (Ger) First time they've met, I don't think it will be the last. 4.6 6.2 6.3
