Rainbows

Today we went out! First to Hornsea mere, no sign of the great white egrets, then to the Freeport for a new pair of boots for work (boring), we then went to the north cave wetlands.
The wind was horrendous, birds were a bit thin on the ground although we did see the green winged teal and a lovely male bullfinch.
We had a laugh in the hide with a couple who had their young children with them who were very keen to see the teal, so much so that mum couldn't get a look in! Nice to see kids out enjoying nature.
We saw this rainbow, hmm rain on the way.....
