Fallen angel.

This isn't something you'll see very often, especially if you don't live in Scotland.

Passed the distillery the other day and noticed they were dismantling one of the pagodas, I assume for repairs. On the way back from Kirkwall this evening I spotted the copper pagoda top in a builders yard. You don't realise how huge they are when you see them on top of the chimneys.

Some of the wood looked fairly rotten, so I guess that's the problem. I wonder if they'll replace the whole thing or just the wood? Hmmm, I bet we could build a nice garden feature out of that and a few old tyres.
