Gardening
The Little Misses went outside this morning and got wet and muddy! They were very excited to pick some green tomatoes from the greenhouse. They're currently on the kitchen windowsill "to ripen"
They also made "mixture" in the paddling pool which is still where it was abandoned after the last use months ago.
Miss E also started digging her "mini pond" in the mud under their swing. She got a wildlife book for Christmas and it says that if we bury a washing up bowl and fill it with pondweed and rocks we'll get newts, frogs and toads.
Mmmmm, we'll see.
Please ignore the state of the garden - it's normally stopped growing by now!
We met Mrs L, Miss M and her friend in Bicester today to watch Frozen
It was brilliant.
Heart wrenchingly sad at the beginning - and at various points throughout. I actually thought I was going to start sobbing at one point. Sisters and their love for each other. Gulp!
I loved it.
I didn't love the failure to find the car key as we were due to leave, tearing the house apart, shouting at Miss L demanding to know what she'd done with it (she said she'd had it but couldn't remember what she'd done with it!), throwing them all into Mr K's car, stalling the stupid car, seeing there was no petrol in the car, rushing to Tescos for petrol, queuing out of the forecourt because half the bloody pumps were closed, coming within nanoseconds of putting diesel in Mr K's unleaded car, calling Mrs L and telling her she should buy new tickets for herself and the girls as we weren't going to make it in time and she couldn't pick up the ones I'd pre-booked without my credit card, rushing to Bicester at top speed, driving round the full car park in a frenzy, Miss L getting her fingers stuck in the door of the lift, rushing into the cinema and being stopped by the child man at the barrier querying why I had six tickets for three people (what the *&^% has it got to do with you?!!!!!!!!)
But we sat down as the last trailer ended and the film began.
And it was ace!
